Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data this website collects and how we handle it. We keep it as simple as possible: we only collect what we need to answer your questions and manage bookings.
Who we are
Casa Golf y Sol, Calle Espliego 8211, Torre-Pacheco (Murcia), Spain. Data controller: Chris Van Den Eede. Contact: casagolfysol@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Contact and enquiry form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the dates and number of guests you ask about, and your message.
- Bookings: if you book with us, we record your name, contact details, stay dates and payment status to manage your stay.
- Spam protection: a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, so we can limit the number of messages sent from one connection. The original IP address is not stored.
Why and on what basis
We use your data only to answer your enquiry and, if you book, to prepare and manage your stay (steps prior to and performance of a contract, and your consent when you send the form). We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where it goes
Enquiries are stored in our own database at our hosting provider (Hostinger, in the EU) and sent by email to our mailbox at Google Gmail, which may process data outside the EU under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Nobody else receives your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are deleted automatically after 2 years. Booking records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting obligations.
Cookies
We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The site only sets a cookie to remember your chosen language, and the owners’ login uses a session cookie. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing casagolfysol@gmail.com. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
